50g Valcambi CombiBar (50 x 1g)

The Valcambi CombiBar is a 50 gram sheet of .9999 fine gold divided by scored lines into 50 individual one gram sections. Each section can be broken off by hand and carries its own weight and purity marking, so a small piece can be identified on its own once separated.

The design answers a specific problem: large bars hold weight efficiently but cannot be sold in part, while one gram bars bought individually are expensive per gram. The CombiBar sits between the two — bought as one 50 gram unit, divisible into small amounts later.

The card is supplied sealed with the refiner's details and serial number. Note that once sections are separated, they are no longer covered by the intact assay packaging, and a buyer may want them checked.
