About This Product
The 2026 American Silver Eagle is the United States Mint's official one ounce silver bullion coin, with a face value of one dollar and a struck weight of one troy ounce.
The obverse uses Adolph A. Weinman's Walking Liberty, originally designed for the half dollar in 1916. The reverse has carried an eagle in flight since 2021, when the mint replaced the earlier heraldic eagle design and added a reeded-edge variation used to distinguish the two types.
Silver Eagles usually trade at a higher premium than most other one ounce silver coins. Production is set by the mint and demand from the US market is heavy, so the difference over the metal price is often noticeably wider than for Maple Leaves or Britannias — something worth checking before choosing between them.
The coin is packed by the mint in tubes of 20 and boxes of 500, so quantity purchases arrive in original packaging.
