Every coin holds one troy ounce of .9999 fine silver from the Royal Canadian Mint and carries the series design — sugar maple leaf reverse, the monarch's portrait, and the struck weight, purity and Canadian legal tender denomination. Earlier dates may lack the radial lines and privy mark used on recent issues.
